Ywuana Peden

Ywuana Peden is an Educator with Financial Education Partnership (FEP), a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing free educational resources to the public.

Ywuana is recognized as a top employee benefits planner (FSA, HSA, & HRA), a defined contribution retirement planner (401(k), IRA’s, Profit Share & Pensions) and a leading educational community organizer.

Ywuana has provided plan design and benefit offerings to employer groups, CPA’s and entrepreneurs for several years. She organizes many events within the Federal Government providing insurance services, retirement planning, educational workshops.

Her decision to open a local office and become an independent trainer was based on seeing the need for financial education with individual employees and business owners.

Ywuana is a D.C. native who studied business management at the University of the District of Columbia and graduated from Duke Ellington School of the Arts. She has a unique understanding of both sides of the coin; business, real estate and financial services. She is an entrepreneur who has run a multi-million dollar business for years.

Ywuana is motivated by impacting her community by providing financial literacy education for others. Her previous experience is made up of more than 19 years of real estate investing and development experience, as well as a financial services background with many of the largest national financial services and insurance companies. She is committed to ensuring that everyone receives access to financial literacy.  Her specialty is retirement planning and advance insurance planning.

In her spare time, Ywuana enjoys fitness, traveling and attending baseball games at her favorite sports team, the Nationals. She is a supporter of the Leukemia Foundation.  She also devotes time to her church. The thing she is most proud of is her daughter who just graduated from Clark Atlanta University.
