Tom Gervase

Tom Gervase is an Educator with Financial Education Partnership, one of the largest and fastest growing financial education 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the country.

Tom was born and raised in Michigan and earned a BA degree from Michigan State University in 1986. He has been in the financial services industry since earning his securities and insurance licenses in 2001.  He went on to earn the CLTC designation in 2010.

As a former play-by-play announcer, public speaking is both a love and a skill of Tom’s.  His ability to entertain while teaching has afforded him opportunities in the non-profit space as well as corporate boardrooms since his college days.  He has conducted seminars on social security, retirement planning and insurance.

Tom volunteers as an usher and community group leader at Cornerstone Family Church. He has also volunteered as a baseball and basketball coach for many years in the city parks and recreation leagues, as well as for competitive travel baseball teams. He serves in the Harnett Central High School booster club and is the game announcer for the Trojan baseball team.  Past volunteering activities and organizations include the Duke Children’s Hospital, Alzheimer’s Association and the National Kidney Foundation.

He, his wife Stephanie, and four amazing children currently reside in Raleigh, North Carolina.
