Marvin Johnson

Marvin A. Johnson is an educator with The Financial Education Partnership, one of the largest and fastest-growing 501(c)(3) non-profits in the country.

Marvin is very passionate about the needs, support, and education of family members who are caregivers to their loved ones. Marvin was a caregiver to his grandmother, his father, and his mother.

Marvin’s insurance practice has been taking a holistic approach to assisting his clients for over 20 years. He has done many webinars and workshops focusing on the risks facing families regarding retirement or an extended healthcare event, leaving a legacy to their family or charity, and protecting their assets.

Marvin received his B.S. in Business Administration from Newberry College, where he was a pitcher on the baseball team. Prior to attending Newberry College in Newberry, South Carolina, Marvin attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma as a pitcher on the baseball team that qualified for the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska in 1978.

Marvin has been married to Deborah W. Johnson for over 40 years. Living in Durham, North Carolina, they are both avid fans of college football, basketball, and baseball. When he is not assisting business owners and individuals with their insurance needs, you can usually find him at a game or volunteering in the community.
