Mark McCanney is an educator for the Financial Education Partnership (FEP), one of the largest and fastest growing 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the country.
For nearly 20 years, Mark has been a leader in the financial services industry providing advisory services to families and businesses throughout the Midwest region. His extensive academic study focuses on income planning strategies for the baby-boom generation, which ultimately lead to the creation of a software package designed to maximize retirement income streams. He is also the co-founder of a financial services partnership formed to study and find solutions to combat the critically low levels of retirement income sources for the current generation of workers. His work and expertise guided a project that produced an industry-first product strategy that is currently being used by thousands of financial advisors across the country to provide retirement income security to their clients.
Mark is passionate about helping and educating others on financial issues through the work of the Foundation for Financial Education. He is a frequent speaker to groups of all sizes and co-hosts a radio program aimed to increase awareness and education on a broad array of financial topics.
He is a graduate of the Max M. Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University and lives in Columbus with his wife and three wonderful children.
