Larry Brown

Larry Brown is an educator with the Financial Education Partnership, one of the largest and fastest growing 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the country.

Larry spent 25 years in the family’s Chevrolet-Oldsmobile Dealership, running the business the last 10 years. After selling the Dealership in 1992 he started an insurance and financial services business. Over time he had requests to do consulting work for dealerships. He did consulting and training for hundreds of dealerships nationwide. He also did consulting for the National Automobile Dealers Association, ES3, and worked with J.D. Power on projects with Kia, Chrysler, Subaru and Mercedes Benz. He is also a member of The John Maxwell Team of speakers, trainers and coaches.

His insurance business is focused on seniors. He became a Certified Senior Advisor to better help understand their needs. He’s helped them understand Medicare and the different types of Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage plans. Understanding Long Term Care can be confusing and explaining the different options is critical. He helps people with Final Expense Insurance and Estate Planning. He has worked with Veterans on the Aid and Attendance Program.

Larry is a Graduate of the General Motors School of Marketing and Management and spent 6 years in the Air National Guard. He lives in Moseley Virginia with Cathy, his wife of 48 years. He has 3 children and 3 grandchildren. He enjoys camping and playing Bluegrass music.
