Jay Brantley

Jay Brantley is an Educator with Financial Education Partnership, one of the largest and fastest growing 501(c) (3) nonprofits in the country.

Jay is a highly credentialed financial professional who combines high-level expertise, personal experiences and a passion for promoting financial freedom through literacy and education.   Specializing in wealth-management counsel for working professionals and retirees, Jay is an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR), holds a FINRA Series 65 securities registration, and insurance licenses for life, health, Medicare supplement and long-term care. In addition, Jay recently served as president of the American Financial Education Alliance (AFEA) eastern North Carolina chapter.

Over the past decade, this comprehensive background has enabled Jay to provide guidance, products and services that address the full spectrum of retirement planning needs. Areas of specialization include (but are not limited to) Social Security, retirement income, college planning, 401(k) rollovers, and estate planning.

Jay’s own story is testament to his mastery of retirement planning and all its complexities. After a successful career as a Honeywell senior aerospace engineer, Jay retired at age 46.  Recognizing his keen ability for detail and discipline, friends and family also benefited from Jay’s insightful advice.  It was a natural career progression for Jay to become professionally schooled in financial planning—something he found rewarding, challenging and that was, quite obviously, his strong suit. He joined a noted financial planning firm and, later, formed his own practice.
