Dave Buchanan is an Educator with Financial Education Partnership, one of the largest and fastest growing 501(c) (3) nonprofits in the country.

Dave left Nebraska and served 3 years in the Army with a Top-Secret security clearance and worked as a communications specialist.  He then came home and served another 3 years as an ambulatory medic while attending the University of Nebraska.  After completing his education, Dave worked for Merrill Lynch until 2002 when he decided to go independent to better serve his clients.

Regarding his work, Dave’s favorite activity is serving our community with frequent Educational Workshops for various groups with a variety of topics.  He is constantly trying to increase his skills by going to training conferences on Long Term Care, Estate Planning and Tax Planning.  Dave’s firm is one of the few firms in Nebraska that belong to Ed Slott’s Elite Advisor group. With his partner being a CPA, they have some amazing services and resources to help people with Retirement Planning and Tax reduction strategies.

Dave belongs to a remarkable church with some great people, Calvary Community Church where he serves as an usher. He has a wonderful family and great friends that he loves to spend time with.  In his spare time, you can find Dave reading or practicing self-improvement techniques.
