Karin Botelho

Karin Botelho is an Educator with Financial Education Partnership, one of the largest and fastest growing 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the country.

Karin’s love for investing began at the age of 9 when she started learning about the stock market. By the age of 14 she purchased her first stock. Her passion for investing propelled her to begin a career in the finance industry over 19 years ago as a Registered Representative.

Karin’s focus is on college and retirement planning and wealth management. Karin uses her expertise to teach you how to achieve your goals while planning for taxes, long term care events and all of the other hurdles one faces in life.

Her certifications include a certified employee benefits specialist (CEBS) designation from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Series 7 and Series 66 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the North American Securities Administrators Association. Karin is also a fully licensed Florida life and health insurance agent with a bachelor’s degree in finance from University of South Florida.

Karin volunteer’s her time at her children’s school and is a financial contributor to many organizations who help those in need locally and worldwide including Salvation Army, Samaritan’s Purse and Amazima.

Karin is married to Steve and they have two beautiful daughters. In her free time Karin enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and golfing.
