Reynell Lavigne is the Regional Director of the New Orleans Operations for the Financial Education Partnership, one of the largest and fastest growing 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the country.
Reynell is a New Orleans native and Oklahoma State University graduate. Reynell has held a number of leadership and executive positions with a major hotel chain in New Orleans and New Jersey. As GM in New Jersey he educated his employees on the importance of proper benefits. Now with over 20 years of corporate and independent benefits experience, Reynell now helps families understand, assess and mitigate the personal and financial risks associated with inadequate benefits- especially important now during the challenges of Covid-19. By exposing these dangers he guides clients to achieve 3 primary goals: maximize retirement income, minimize taxation, & structure an efficient estate plan.
He is married to his lovely wife Chef Dwynesha Lavigne, also a native New Orleanian. Together they have two boys. Reynell’s oldest son was diagnosed with Autism in 2006 and he and his family have become advocates for people with disabilities. Since returning to New Orleans, Reynell holds positions on the New Orleans Mayor’s Advisory Council, serves as Co-Director for Greater New Orleans Special Olympics and is a Member of the Melin Classic Special Needs Clinic, a basketball clinic for kids with disabilities which partners with the City of New Orleans and the UNO Basketball Team.
Reynell’s mission is to serve others by providing proper / relevant education and access to quality resources, in order to protect their family’s financial longevity with appropriate insurance and benefit selection.
