Michael Brewer is an educator with Financial Education Partnership, one of the largest and fastest growing 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the country.
Serving the fine people of the great state of Minnesota. He strives every day to stomp out the financial illiteracy in this country.
He started in the financial industry in the late 80’s teaching investors how to trade stocks. Part of that education was locking in profits. Then placing them in a safe investment which led to long-term financial goals. Goals such as college planning and retirement planning.
From the beginning he never saw himself as a financial advisor. He sees himself as a financial guide. His goals are clear. Provide the best financial education possible. Make every case unique to the individual or family and build a rock-solid path for them to follow.
Life’s path is much like mountain climbing. There are paths that are difficult and treacherous. Along with paths that are beautiful and beholding. Most on these paths do not plan for the dangers that lie ahead i.e. market corrections or crashes. As a guide he believes it’s most important to keep them on the right path.
Mike has spent a lifetime volunteering with Muscular Dystrophy Association in Minnesota. As a young man when he could get away, he was either mountain climbing out west or rock climbing locally. Currently he does what he can with his 5 beautiful grandsons.
He was educated at the UofM and currently holds a Minnesota Life and Health Insurance License.
