Donald (Don) Mundy is an Educator with Financial Education Partnership, one of the largest and fastest growing 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the country.
Don is FEP’s education partner serving the Omaha, Nebraska community. He brings 40+ years financial consultant experience to the role. Having worked in every type of economic climate and with people of all ages and incomes—trust that Don knows what to expect and how to prepare, no matter the situation. He is highly credentialed in all aspects of money management, and keen on matching fiscal opportunities with client goals.
Don focuses on families and individuals preparing for retirement—whether is it decades away or immediately at hand. The majority of his financial solutions involve risk management, wealth preservation, and estate planning. In prior years, Don guided business owners and their families in the efficient transfer of wealth and company ownership, with an eye toward minimizing taxes.
Professionally, Don attended Midland University, is a graduate of College of Financial Planning, has earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFPâ) designation, is a member of the Omaha Estate Planning Council, and also the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He holds licenses for life insurance and variable annuities, in addition to other industry certifications.
Don spends as much time as possible with his grandson, and enjoys reading, travel, the symphony, good food and wine, concerts, Creighton and Nebraska sports. He has served on many charitable boards over the years, is past chair of his church endowment committee, and currently sits on its Board of Directors.
